Patients and other professionals trust his judgment, knowledge, and ethics.  They stay with him for his caring attitude and attention to detail which makes them feel safe and knowing that he will go the extra mile for them. Dr. Brar Comes from a close-knit family, raised with high moral values and a strong work ethic.  Attended prep school in India (Mother’s International School) immigrated to the USA in the early 1980s.  Dr. Brar graduated from Richfield High School in 1986, the entire family went thru the Naturalization process and became American citizens.  He has two children and also a younger brother who followed him into dentistry and is now in New Hampshire. His undergraduate studies at Concordia College St. Paul for Pre-Med, then received a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dental Hygiene. He then enrolled at Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating in 1994. Thereafter he joined the United States Airforce being stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Fairborn, Ohio. As an officer, with the rank of Captain, he received advanced training in dental prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with certification in ACLS.  Captain Brar was the officer in charge of TMD (Joint Pain and malfunctions clinic). During his time at Write Patterson he became a member of Base Wellness committee, Base Ice Hockey team, Wright Patt Flyers, and a member dental squadron softball team 1994-1997. Hobbies include playing golf, watching Formula 1 Racing, Minnesota Gopher Hockey.  Like to spend time with family and friends. “Find serenity in the little things in life”Community service include:  Annual participation in Give Kids a Smile during children’s dental health month.  Member of Donated Dental services-Gov. Tim Pawlenty initiative.  Served a full six-year term as a board member for Advisory Board of Health for Bloomington Department of health, serving one year term as Director of board.  Volunteer at Bloomington VEAP.  Volunteer for Jefferson High School.
